Carer Support / Respite

Carer support and respite are available at Aranui rest home and at Oak Park dementia unit.

We understand that the demands on carers are considerable and aim to provide a safe environment, as home-like as possible, so that carers can have regular respite.

All clients will be assessed by our occupational therapist and physiotherapist during their first stay to ensure an agreed plan is written to meet individual needs.

Clients are encouraged to join in with our activity programme.

Laundry is done in the rest home (please ensure that clothes are clearly named with an indelible marker).

Medical supervison and registered care is provided.
